My name is Mrs Shortland, and I have worked as a Teaching Assistant for many years in a variety of educational settings. I am proud to be part of the South End Junior School team. Alongside my role as a class Teaching Assistant, I am also the school's ELSA (Emotional Literacy Support Assistant).

One of the most rewarding parts of my job is seeing the moment a child understands something for the first time. I love helping children grow in confidence, enjoy their learning, and achieve their full potential.

Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family, exploring the countryside on walks, and capturing nature through photography.
